CUSTOMER DATA INSIGHTS
Grow Revenue with Monetization Analytics and Automated Alerts
Drive renewals, monitor churn risk, and guide upsell or cross-sell
opportunities with entitlement data, custom notifications, and
real-time sharing to external platforms.
Take Charge of Recurring Revenue
FlexNet Operations enables centralized entitlement management across SaaS, on-premises, intelligent devices, and hybrid deployments.
The Producer Portal offers a clear window into account health, with embedded analytics and notifications that empower you to:
- Track entitlements that are due to expire
- Check utilization to spot churn risk and expansion opportunities
- Set automated alerts to inform stakeholders when custom thresholds are met
Additionally, the Data Access REST API allows direct sharing with end customers and business intelligence platforms, while Event Notifications trigger low-code workflows to immediately update back-office systems (such as CRMs and billing applications) whenever changes occur.
Easy Access to Strategic Customer Data Insights
The Analytics Dashboard allows you to proactively monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within FlexNet Operations.
Alternatively, the Data Access REST API enables seamless sharing with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud data warehouse environments, simplifying your reporting process by removing manual steps for data extraction.
The programmatic interface also allows usage reports to be shared directly with customers, providing valuable insights to strengthen retention.
Access Monetization Insights Through AI Agents
Connect your own AI assistants and agents to Monetization Analytics using the Revenera MCP Server. Teams can ask natural-language questions about entitlements, usage, renewals, and customer adoption without building reports or manually combining data from multiple systems:
- Which customers are approaching renewal in the next 30 days but have shown declining usage over the past three months?
- Based on last month’s data, where are the best upsell opportunities with customers approaching consumption limits?
- What patterns exist across customers who churned in the past six months, including links between geography, feature adoption, and pricing?
Revenera MCP Server: Connecting AI Agents with Monetization Data
Revenera MCP Server speeds access to business insights by enabling natural-language queries of data across the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
Stay Ahead with Customizable Alerts
Streamline operations and stay informed at key moments in the customer lifecycle with two sets of automated notifications.
Event Notifications
Trigger low-code workflows based on entitlement updates to:
- Immediately apply guardrails to self-service changes, such as increased storage or capacity
- Sync real-time updates across business and quote-to-cash systems via external webhooks
- Instantly recognize revenue as transactions complete
Conditional Notifications
Automate emails or send alerts to adjacent platforms to:
- Notify account managers when entitlements are set to expire within a specified timeframe
- Inform upsell, cross-sell, or overage billing conversations when certain thresholds are met
- Prompt outreach activities when usage levels signal churn risk
Advanced Monetization Analytics
Entitlement reports enable detailed customer data analysis, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision making.
FlexNet Operations offers clear visibility into utilization trends, with in-product analytics to track all entitlement lines, served devices, license server usage, elastic usage, active sites by region, customer and partner accounts, and users within those accounts.
In addition to the API-driven sharing options to view reports in your own data warehouse, you can also download them in various formats and schedule emails from within FlexNet Operations.
These capabilities allow you to track the following KPIs across your entire customer base.
Renewals
The Renewals report offers a real-time view of a customer’s renewal position for either subscriptions or perpetual licenses, showing upcoming expirations with key entitlement and product details.
This allows Renewals Managers and Customer Success teams to track entitlements that are due to expire within a specified timeframe (default 90 days), and automated alerts can be configured to ensure proactive engagement.
The report also highlights expired entitlements, identifying opportunities to re-engage lapsed customers.
Fulfillment
The Fulfillment report provides insights into how customers are using their entitlements, showing usage levels grouped by product to identify upsell opportunities or areas for concern.
By default, the report displays purchased entitlement line items by product, with options to filter data by attributes like account, entitlement IDs, activation IDs, and product details.
License Server Usage
The License Server Usage report reveals consumption patterns for enterprise applications over time, providing insights into how customers engage with specific features.
You can filter by account or feature name to analyze utilization over a defined period, helping you identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities as well as potential churn risk.
Interactive charts provide a clear overview of concurrent and metered license usage, enabling data-driven decisions with ease.
Unlock Customer Data Insights
The modern analytics engine within Revenera’s entitlement management software can reveal valuable customer data insights.
The customizable notifications allow you to streamline the quote-to-cash process when entitlements change, while also alerting team members when action needs to be taken.
